Today on the Hebrew calendar is the day of Av. This is when many events happened, but also when the temple was destroyed twice! A day of fasting and prayer!

For the Christian, have the cares of the world choked out the temple within you. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit!

Jesus said, " My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow!"

What voice do you hear? How do we hear His voice?
1- The Bible
2- Prayer
3- Circumstance or divine appointments
4- The Church
5- Dreams and Visions

In scripture, Jesus said there are different types of ground or soil that the seed of the gospel is cast or planted in or on.

Have we departed from the place where we initially had joy in the Word planted in us? Has the world, riches, thing's overtaken our "First Love?"

There is a real theme that the world is discovering: "Comfort and sedentary lifestyle is killing people!"

How?
Heart disease! Heart attack!

Could our comfort, lack of spiritual excercise that makes our spiritual heart unhealthy, be reversed by re-engaging in an intimate, passionate love for Jesus, the Word of God and our Author and Finisher of our relationship and all our relationships and our faith!

He said it best:
All the law and prophets Henge on these two things:
"LOVE the Lord your God with all heart, mind, soul and strength! and love your neighbor as you love yourself!"

On this day of Av, I pray that you rebuild your temple, that Kingdom within!

May the Lord bless and keep you, may His countenance shine upon you, may you be filled with His peace! Lean into Him and be blessed!

20 years ago I would pray a lot about finances. In 2006 some unimaginable events happened, we took a huge financial hit due to someone else's actions. We put our entire life on hold, then two years in, Diana was diagnosed with lung cancer, then most of our praying centered around health, cancer and the untenable situation due to a cluster of elements that affected our life, lifestyle and seemed to dictate our future.

During that time the shift, we began to shift from a myopic view of our lives, to seeking God's face. It all started when the worst new ever was presented, Diana's life would soon end according to the report.

That was a crisis of belief, we made adjustments, fasted and prayed. Earl Nightingale said, "Luck is not just luck, fortunate people, successful people are prepared, good fortune is when preparedness meets opportunity!"

Our shift in our praying, was to seek the Father, ask for wisdom, and to stop, listen, hear His wisdom and then ask for His timing.

It seemed at that point, whatever we wanted or needed, we had it. Oh but like a sinking ship, we began to get rid of excess, lighten the load and get ready for the future, what ever that would hold.

Then as time went on, as Diana's time began to wind down, we adjusted. Now nearly 7 years later, as I think back, there was almost no stress, no anxiety and we really didn't worry about finances. Our praying shifted again, we began to pray for those who came to visit, Diana increased her gracious way she ministered to other's, when it seemed she needed encouragement, she encouraged other's. We began to pray about the impact that her passing would affect family and friends.

Toward the last days, I administered pain meds like morphine and fentanyl while she was on hospice. The amount of fentanyl had to be handled in such a way, that others, our pets and I would not be overdosed. This took special training, or even I could be in the hospital just by touching it.

So our praying took new forms, when she passed, my prayer changed even more. I no longer had children at home, a wife, or a reason to maintain a house.
I was still thankful to be alive and have so many friends.

It's pretty crazy, I had people who said, "You've changed!" Well live affects everything you do. If you look at those in the Scriptures they would start out with one personality and after "Life" happened, God would call them to do something, that it seemed they were not equiped to do.

I changed, my prayers changed, my focus changed, my priorities changed. 5 year's in, I met my wife Katie. Married a year and 7 months, we head to Brazil Monday, to minister to those in Curitiba, I am sure I would not be going on this trip, without all the things I have been through. Katie probably would be going either.

What I realize, it's the gratitude I have for all God has done in, for and around me, that has given me a whole new attitude toward giving God my yes!

I am thankful for the team we are going with, the people we will meet and those we will join God in ministering to. Also what I have found, I come back impacted more by what happens in, and to others, than they are impacted by my being there. I come back Changed by what God does, He allows us to be on commission with Him.

I don't know what God has in-store for our team, I am grateful in advance for lives changed, ours and those we encounter!

Please pray for us, and that we come back changed, and never the same, more like Jesus!

God is good!

Attitude, I have had all kinds of Attitudes in my lifetime. This trip around the Sun, coincides with this last year being a trip around the Son! 
Most of all I have an attitude of graditude, everything in my life since this time a year ago has changed. This time last year, had been married for a little under 9 months, I thought it could be possible I would be alone for the rest of my life. I met my wife Katie, we married 3 weeks later, it as if God sent a woman made for me from heaven. Katie found her gemstone, had it made into a ring, and picked it up on my birthday September 13, 2017, five years before we met on met.

Last year at this time I already had one more grandson Gio, and another about to come on the scene, Jayven. My sons, their wives, my grandchildren and Katie are my most valued assets. Nothing is more important than family. My favorite person on the planet growing up was my grandfather. Not just what he did for me, but he was "my granddady!"

As I have married, moved, leave and cleave, I came into a new inheritance, gave away some things, acquired new things, but family, friends and the call of God to expand His kingdom and touch by the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit those who have never known the love of a heavenly Father. The same love like a good good Father to his family!

So we are in Brazil on my birthday. As we started this morning with several hundred ministers at a church, I had been struggling with an injury, but I heard, "Release the heart of the Father!" We had a language barrier, but I watched as I forgot my physical ailment, and simply released "the love of the Father into both men and women, as they began to experience His love, weeping with tears of joy, the love language of heaven was released. I cried, they cried, I found my purpose on my birthday, to birth a new love of the Father through Jesus His Son and the power of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit!

So today, I was able to release the gift of the Father, through Jesus, He baptized those few I was able to pray for with the Holy Spirit and power, the greatest gift He give us is His love. John 17 says "Father I pray that they be One as you Father and I are One!"

They Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was poured out, He reconciled what was broken and separated at Babylon. They heard the praises, the gospel and were filled with the Holy Spirit and 3000 plus were added, born again that day, on the Birthday of the New Covenant Church!

Today on my birthday, I was able to give away this gift I was given. I am a simple man, before these meetings I was broken again, and my life, my gift given by the Father may it multiply, to be manna from heaven and may the gift be payed forward to those here in Curitiba, Brazil, and the where ever these few go, may they take up the fragments and more than what was given out remain. Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Manna from heaven.....so my best birthday ever is to give the gift I recieved to other's. 

I feel like that boy, with 5 loaves and 2 fish, I don't have much, but it's more than enough, in the Master's hand!

Jesus said, "Freely I give to you, freely give it away!" The Kingdom is always about Him, and He is always more than enough.

We have 120 on our team, they had 120 in the Upper room, with one instruction: "Wait here until you are endued with power from on high, and you will be My witnesses, to Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth!"

May we be endued with power tonight, in this next service, one more time! In Jesus name!

Our group from our little church in Front Royal,  Virginia. 2 pastors, Ian Bell and Marissa Bornholdt , and 7 intercessors from Jay Butch Chevalier n Katie Chevalier, Kala C., Tammy M., Valerie S., Aaron D. and Justin S.  Front Royal, Winchester, Round Hill, Haymarket and Manassas, all with one purpose, to bless and follow the Leadership of Global Awakening, to receive impartation from their mandate going all the way back to when Randy Clark was  discipled by John Wimber and learned "to do the stuff" Jesus did. We moved as One (John 17) with the rest of the 120 to see an Upperroom outpouring in those we fell in love with. We had an impartation to hundreds of 5 fold, from an Apostolic mandate that many led by Randy Clark walk in. It was truly like walking into the book if Acts, or the letters, epistles written by the Apostles. We saw the lame walk, blinded eyes opened, the deaf hearing, the whole place where we were worshipping filled with the glory of God.

We also saw many saved, healed, delivered and set free.
We experienced the Church at Curitiba rejoicing as One, a rejoicing I had never seen before as they sang and clapped in unison as One Body, the joy was overwhelming, the love beyond explanation. Like heaven in and on earth! In Jesus name!

We were blessed and touched beyond measure!

Katie and I returned more in love with Jesus  and more love with each other!

The best is yet to come!

Pondering: to think about (something) carefully, especially before making a decision or reaching a conclusion.

In the Scriptures we see those who pondered over things they knew were a God thing, but had never seen it done that way!

As Mary, Jesus mother encountered God, angels, prophetic people, about carrying Jesus inside her womb, scripture says, "She pondered these things in her heart."
Those who are near to His heart, hear His voice, it is usually an inner voice. Mary knew His voice long before she audibly heard His voice.

I had a good friend, fellow pastor Robin Bayles, he had a degree that had singing, worship, music, and was an expert in the area of "resonance", he may of even had perfect pitch, meaning he could hear a tone or note on a guitar or piano, and sing or play to the right resonance or pitch.

When you play a guitar, once the top string is in tune, you play a note, the corresponding string will vibrate if it is in tune! If you strike a tuning fork at the same frequency as another tuning fork, it will cause the other tuning fork to vibrate, this is also resonance!

Mary and many in the Scriptures were actual people who were tuned into the resonance of heavens frequency: God's voice!

In John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God."

It also states, "Everything was made by Him, and nothing that was made, was made without Him!"

Recently in my readings, sermons I have heard, songs I have heard, conversation I have been a part of, a theme in scripture has come to my attention, over and over:

Many criticize, when you said, "I heard the Father say, or Jesus say, XYZ...."

Scripture is clear, unless we hear His voice, through the Bible, prayer, circumstance, the Church, dreams, visions, encounters with God. These will resonate in your spirit, line up with the written Word of God, be confirmed by those around you, that hear His voice as well, His Ecclesia the Church. You will know!
How do I start to hear Hiss voice?

1- Read scripture, the Word on pages, comes from the Word Jesus.
By knowing the authentic, you will recognize the counterfeit (another voice)
2- Prayer, prayer is multifaceted, we should seek His Face, bring praise to Him, worship Him, then we can bring our needs before Him......

You may say, I do all that. The next part, listen, spend as much time listening as you do talking, maybe even more.

I write down on one pad, thing's I have to do,and put that to the side,then in a journal, I write down what I hear Him saying.

Remember God is always speaking, we are not always listening.

3- Then as you go throughout your day, look for opportunities, someone hurting, seeking God, someone with loss, someone who is asking questions about God,even those who may be mad or blaming God, for loss, or some attack of the enemy to discourage.
Ask God how to join Him in what He is doing in those people's life.
Some need a friend, some need a hug, some just need an ear and a silent prayer. We all need wisdom to discern how we join God in their process.

The same power that rose Jesus from the dead, His Resurrection power, lives in all who truly believe in Him, those who cry out to Him in the secret place, who meet with Him, face to face. He said, "My sheep know My voice, another they will not follow.

Jesus also said, "Hearing they will not hear, seeing, but yet they cannot see! Only if you seek Him will you find Him, knock and the door will be opened!"

There is a house cleaning taking place, it does not matter if you are rich or poor, the owner, the boss or the employee. Nothing in this life, except those you lead to Jesus, but nothing else matters. We all must repent, no matter if your favorite prophet says, "He is delaying His coming!" 

Matthew 25 gives us 3 scenarios, all 3 lead to Jesus, returning for those who are His Bride, the Church!

He is coming back for those, who fill their lamps with oil, or like thief in the night! Then He will seperate the sheep, His sheep, from the goats, those who may have seemed like sheep, but they had horns, because they said, "There is time, if you enjoy the fruit, surely you will not die!"

But like Eve, that first bite, she was dead and didn't even know it. All she knew was, now I am naked, because I left my covering , the glory of the Lord.

A little sin, a little poison it's all the same, it's a slow death!

But God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, the Lamb of God, to take away the sin of the world. To reconnect and extract the poison, that slowly is killing all mankind, except those who take up their cross, repent themselves, of their sin, and follow Jesus, then He cleanses you from all the poison/sin, covers you in the blood of His sacrifice and comes inside and lives in you! Then He connects you to the heart of the Good, Good Father, and He will never leave you or forsake you!
He sends His Holy Spirit to fill, lead and guide, with power from on high.
He loves you!
